Luke 23:43 tells us that the second words Jesus Christ said on the cross were to the prisoner: "Truly I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise." When Jesus walked on earth and preached the gospel and taught people, He had the authority to forgive people's sins, so when He was nailed to the cross, He still had the authority to forgive people's sins. Luke 16:19-31 tells us about the story of the Rich Man and Lazarus. When a person dies, his soul is called to leave the human world and is taken to the spirit world of Hades. The spirit world of Hades is managed and governed by God's angels, waiting for Jesus' return, recognizing you, and welcoming you, those who are saved by faith, back to heaven to be with God and enjoy the hope of eternal life. If Jesus does not recognize you when he comes again, you will be punished and suffer in Hades. You will be sent from Hades to appear before Jesus for judgment, before the white throne at His second coming. If you cannot pass the judgment test, you will be cast out by the angel. In the spirit world, you will go to the Lake of Fire, and so is to say in the divine world, you will receive the punishment of hell, and you will suffer eternal torment for your whole life. The scriptures quoted in “今日灵粮 Spiritual FOOD TODAY” tell us and explain us "Knowing Where the Soul Goes After Death." When Jesus was on earth, in today's scriptures, He has clearly told us that He is the way to heaven and our only personal Savior. If you can hold on to this faith, stand firm in this gospel faith to the end, live a righteous life, do good, and love your neighbor as yourself, your body will be sanctified and kept holy and spotless. When your time on earth is over and death comes, you will feel relieved that your soul has left this world peacefully. The angels of God will take you and place you with Abraham in the paradise of Hades, awaiting the Second Coming and Return of Jesus to welcome you to heaven to live with God and share the hope of life, which is eternal life. Let us all be ready to receive the reward of this eternal crown that is waiting for us believers in His grace and salvation
