Scripture 经文：聖靈所結的果子，就是仁愛、喜樂、和平、忍耐、恩慈、良善、信實、溫柔、節制。這樣的事沒有律法禁止。凡屬基督耶穌的人，是已經把肉體連肉體的邪情私慾同釘在十字架上了。我們若是靠聖靈得生，就當靠聖靈行事。不要貪圖虛名，彼此惹氣，互相嫉妒; But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. Many pastors and theologians preach and reveal that the Holy Spirit is the third person of our Triune God. This means that the Holy Spirit is a member of our Triune God, equal to the Father and the Son, and of the same essence, according to the concept of family. The Father, the Son, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit of God are distinct from one another in personal relationships. Therefore, one theologian sees it as the presence of the Holy Spirit in the Nicene Creed, called the Lord and Giver of Life. Genesis 1:2 tells us that He is our God, the Spirit of the Creator, who existed before the creation of the universe, and through His power, all things in the universe were created in Jesus Christ, as emphasized in John 1:3, that is, by the cooperation of the various persons of the Father, the Creator of our universe. In addition, many scriptures tell us that the Holy Spirit is God and believers are baptized in His name, as Jesus commanded in Matthew 28:19-20. The Apostle Paul affirms the Holy Spirit's power to protect believers in Ephesians 4:30 so that no one can take away their faith and salvation. The Holy Spirit is sent by our God the Son, Jesus as revealed in John 15:26, to dwell in the heart temples of believers as mentioned in 1 Corinthians 3:16, transforming them into the spiritual seat and temple of God, just as we are members of the church today, forming a co-worker worshiping group, as described by Paul in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. Now that we know who the Holy Spirit is and what He does, we must remain holy as God is holy and live like little Jesuses as we live and walk in the Spirit, worshiping and glorifying our God by loving one another and our neighbors as ourselves. The seven gifts of the Holy Spirit as an enumeration in Isaiah 11: 2-3 are wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and the fear of the Lord. One pastor also said that while some Christians accept these as a definite list of specific attributes, others simply understand them as examples of the Holy Spirit working through believers. Since we live by the Spirit, let us pray that we will be in step with the Holy Spirit. Let us not be conceited, nor provoke or envy one another, but serve together with others and become precious vessels of service to our Creator God, walking in the path of righteousness that our Son of God, Jesus, taught us to take, and being guided by the Spirit of God in our conduct, we can show a lot of kindness and love to the world, and thus bear many spiritual fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit that we shared in our “今日灵粮 Spiritual FOOD TODAY”.
