It is hard to believe that the winning of 2024 election in United States during the beginning of this week has gone to the Republicans Party. Leigh Sales, Analyst on US Election from ABC News published on Wednesday, November, 6 2024 following the election has this say “The Democratic Party's challenges were obvious from the moment Kamala Harris became the nominee. It is truly extraordinary the Democrats have convincingly lost a presidential election against one of the most discredited figures in modern American political history — a convicted felon, no less. And yet, the challenges for the Democratic Party, and the campaign's obvious mistakes and missteps, have been clear from the day Kamala Harris became the nominee. There is little that's surprising about Donald Trump's victory beyond the obvious shock that a candidate so vulgar and base — last week, he pretended to fellate a microphone, just the latest pitiful example in a long line — is not unelectable.” However, we as Christians and believers in our faith do believe that “God's Sovereignty Over All Things According to His Will”.

Işık Abla from The Washington Post published on the same day as on November 6, 2024 in her – Special to Higher Ground – reminding Christians it is “a new era for America: Biblical principles have been rekindled, don’t let the flame go out.” She goes on saying: “America’s foundations were rooted in Biblical principles, and this election feels like a decision to reclaim those roots. I am filled with joy, seeing what I believe to be a great turning point for this nation — a moment that I believe has been divinely appointed. In this election, I see a new horizon of hope, a chance for America to stand again as a beacon of godly values ... But as I reflect on what has happened, I feel an excessive amount of joy, hope, and a solemn awareness of the responsibility that comes with this moment. And for those who are disappointed in this time, I want to remind them something profound: Our ultimate hope is in Christ alone. My hope, my solid rock, is in Jesus. In times like these, let’s cling to His love, to His grace, and to His sovereignty over all things. Though this is a pivotal moment, our foundation must remain secure in Him.”

Pastor Greg Laurie from Harvest Ministries has noticed this; after winning the presidency, Donald Trump made this statement- “God spared my life for a reason — to save our country and restore America to greatness.” Pastor Laurie believes this is true. America needs restoration. President Trump could have died so easily in the assassination attempts on his life, but God did indeed spare him. When President Ronald Reagan was shot early in his presidency, he too felt God had spared his life. The night Reagan returned to the White House he confided in his diary, “Whatever happens now I owe my life to God and will serve Him every way I can.” Ronald Reagan went on have one of the greatest presidencies in American history. Let’s pray now for President Trump that he will be surrounded by godly and competent people who will give him good counsel in the days ahead.

As well, pray that God will have mercy on our humans weaknesses, strengthen our faith, help us to remain holy as a good citizen and or as a talent leader of a great nation, and follow the teachings of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:6-7, and that: "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
