Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live.” For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man. “Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice and come out — those who have done what is good will rise to live, and those who have done what is evil will rise to be condemned. By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me.” (约翰福音 John 5:24-30)
Sharing 分享: 从 “今日灵粮 Spiritual FOOD TODAY “所引用的经文中，我们都知道每个人终有一天都会死去，死后要面对耶稣的审判，那么我们该如何准备呢？耶稣在经文中告诉我们，到了时候，所有在坟墓里的人都要听见祂的声音而出来；行善守圣洁的人要复活而活；作恶跌倒的人要复活而定罪。所以，我们信耶稣得救之后，一定要活出公义、圣洁的生活。耶稣在白色宝座前的审判是公平的，因为经文告诉我们，祂不求自己的意思，只求那差祂来者的意思。正如使徒行传 Acts 17:31 证实了耶稣的救恩： “因为神已经定了日子，要借着祂所设立的人（耶稣）按公义审判天下，并且叫耶稣从死里复活，给万人作确实的凭据。”
在《灵命日粮 Ours Daily Bread》中，我还看到了柯贝尔牧师 Pastor Cobell 的一篇《死亡之约 Death Appointment》的分享。柯贝尔牧师认为 “死亡” 对每个人都是公平的。他接着解释说，旧约创世记 Genesis 3章告诉我们，自从亚当和夏娃在伊甸园背叛神之后，死亡就进入了人类世界，这是人类历史上最悲惨的事实。“死亡” 是绝对公平的。或许就像有些人说的，没有人能逃脱死亡的约定。这也是希伯来书 Hebrews 9:27 的重点，经文说： “按着定命，人人都有一死，死后且有审判。” 面对自己的死亡约定，我们在哪里可以找到希望？接下来会发生什么？答案就在基督里。罗马书 Romans 6:23 对此有最好的解释： “因为罪的工价乃是死；惟有神的恩赐，在我们的主基督耶稣里，乃是永生。” 我们要如何得到这份恩赐呢？在提摩太后书 2 Timothy 1:10，使徒保罗鼓励我们相信神的儿子耶稣基督，承认祂为我们而死，废除死亡，从死里复活，使我们能享受永生。

From the scriptures quoted in 今日灵粮 Spiritual FOOD TODAY, we all know that everyone will die one day and face the judgment of Jesus after death, so how should we prepare? Jesus told us in the scriptures that when the time comes, all those in the graves will hear His voice and come out; those who do good and keep holiness will be resurrected and live; those who do evil and fall will be resurrected and condemned. Therefore, after we believe in Jesus and are saved, we must live a righteous and holy life. Jesus' judgment before the white throne is fair, because the scriptures tell us that He does not seek His own will, but the will of Him who sent Him. As Acts 17:31 confirms Jesus' salvation: "For God has appointed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man He has appointed (Jesus), and he has given assurance of this to all men by raising Jesus from the dead."
In "Ours Daily Bread 灵命日粮", I also saw Pastor Cobell's sharing of "Death Appointment". Pastor Cobell believes that "death" is fair to everyone. He went on to explain that Genesis 3 in the Old Testament tells us that death has entered the human world since Adam and Eve rebelled against God in the Garden of Eden, which is the most tragic fact in human history. "Death" is absolutely fair. Perhaps as some people say, no one can escape the appointment of death. This is also the focus of Hebrews 9:27, which says: "It is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment." Where can we find hope in the face of our own death appointment? What will happen next? The answer is in Christ. Romans 6:23 has the best explanation for this: "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." How can we receive this gift? In 2 Timothy 1:10, the Apostle Paul encourages us to believe in God's Son Jesus Christ, acknowledging that He died for us, abolished death, and rose from the dead so that we can enjoy eternal life.
May God have mercy on our human weakness of sin, strengthen our Christian faith, accept Jesus as our personal Savior, and save our returning souls in the future judgment. May God's Holy Spirit continue to guide us to live a righteous life and maintain a holy life, because God is holy. In the future, when we face the judgment of Jesus sitting on the white throne, we will be blameless and be with the Lord Jesus forever. Therefore, Hebrews 9:27-28 has such comforting words: "Just as it is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time to those who are waiting for him, not to bear their sins, but to save them."
