(442) 「灵粮主题 TODAY’s Topic」：不要自以为有智慧 Do Not Think You Are Wise by the Standards

「灵粮经节 TODAY’s Verses」：「人不可自欺。你们中间若有人在这世界自以为有智慧，倒不如变作愚拙，好成为有智慧的。因这世界的智慧，在神看是愚拙，如约伯记 5:13 节经上记着说：主叫有智慧的，中了自己的诡计；Do not deceive yourselves. If any of you think you are wise by the standards of this age, you should become “fools” so that you may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God’s sight. As it is written in the Bible on Job 5:13 that: “He catches the wise in their craftiness”.」 （哥林多前书 1 Corinthians 3: 18-19 节）

「灵粮分享 TODAY’s Sharing」： 今晨在「今日圣言」里，读到鲍勃牧师和黛比加斯夫人 Rev. Bob & Mrs. Debby Gass 写了一篇 ，“你求问过上帝吗？” 的分享。约书亚记 9: 14 节，凡事在你做决定之前得要依靠求问神，使得你以后免遭各种各样的麻烦。也就是灵粮主题要分享的，凡要做什么事，“不要自以为有智慧” 。牧者解释道， 约书亚是在付出惨痛的代价后才明白这一点的。他刚刚征服了应许之地的最大城邑 — 耶利哥城。以色列人就被胜利冲昏了头脑，他们觉得不必为下一步的行动去求问上帝了。然而，过于自信可能是致命的！基遍人是在应许之地上与以色列人为敌的民族之一，他们意识到自己无法战胜神的子民，于是就派遣谈判者去跟以色列人缔结和平盟约，而且这约生效了。虽然基遍人撒了谎，可约书亚却信以为真，并且跟他们签订了盟约。事实证明，这是他一生中最大的错误之一。从那一天开始，基遍人就成了以色列人肋旁永远的一根刺。约书亚一生都为在这件事情上没有求问上帝而感到后悔。在神所赐予的保证和自给自足之间有一条细微的界线，当你越过这条界线时，你就要付出沉重的代价。

「灵粮祷告 TODAY’s Prayer」：今日灵粮也就引用智慧的所罗门王的箴言 3：5-6 节 , 和大家在主的爱里相互勉励祷告，“你要专心仰赖耶和华，不可倚靠自己的聪明，在你一切所行的事上都要认定他，他必指引你的路。” 求神加添我们有聪明，不要自以为有智慧；要敬畏耶和华，远离恶事。祷告奉主名求。阿门 !

In "Today's Word " this morning, I read an article written by Rev. Bob & Mrs. Debby Gass, "Have You Asked God?". This pastor cites Joshua 9:14, reminding us in everything you want to do, will have to rely on God and ask him before you make a decision, so that you will avoid all kinds of trouble in the future. That is what the spiritual food theme wants to share here, "Don't think you are wise" in everything you do. The pastor explained that Joshua came to this point after paying a painful price. He had just conquered the largest city in the Promised Land, Jericho. The Israelites were so carried away by the victory that they felt they did not have to ask God for their next move. However, being overconfident can be fatal! The Gibeonites were one of the nations that fought against the Israelites in the Promised Land. Realizing that they could not defeat the people of God, they sent negotiators to make a peace covenant with the Israelites, and the covenant came into effect. Although the Gibeonites lied, Joshua believed them and signed a covenant with them. It turned out to be one of the biggest mistakes of his life. From that day on, the Gibeonites became a thorn in Israel's side forever. Joshua regretted not asking God about it all his life. There is a fine line between God-given assurance and self-sufficiency, and when you cross that line, you pay dearly.

Therefore, 今日灵粮 Spiritual Food Today would quote the wisdom in the King Solomon's Proverbs 3: 5-6 to encourage us with each other in the love of our Lord that, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; in all you do All above shall recognize him, and he shall direct your paths." Be wise, do not think you are smart; but fear God and shun evil. Pray in the name of our Lord. Amen !
