(449) 「灵粮主题 TODAY’s Topic」：殷勤热忱地伺候敬畏神 Serve with Diligence and Zeal in the Fear of God

「灵粮经节 TODAY’s Verses」：「 亲爱的弟兄们，我们虽是这样说，却深信你们的行为强过这些，而且近乎得救。因为神并非不公义，竟忘记你们所做的工和你们为他名所显的爱心，就是先前伺候圣徒，如今还是伺候。我们愿你们各人都显出这样的殷勤，使你们有满足的指望，一直到底。并且不懈怠，总要效法那些凭信心和忍耐承受应许的人；Even though we speak like this, dear friends, we are convinced of better things in your case — the things that have to do with salvation. God is not unjust; he will not forget your work and the love you have shown him as you have helped his people and continue to help them. We want each of you to show this same diligence to the very end, so that what you hope for may be fully realized. 「灵粮分享 TODAY’s Sharing」： 今晨在「圣经日日行」里，读到甘力克牧师 Rev. Nicky Gumbel 写了一篇， “不要放弃热忱” 的分享。牧者引用箴言 Proverbs 23:10-18 节，尤其是 17-18 节，描述： “... 你心中不要嫉妒罪人。只要终日敬畏耶和华。因为至终必有善报。你的指望也不至断绝 … “。也就是灵粮主题要分享的，“殷勤热忱地伺候敬畏神。” 牧者解释道，使徒保罗在罗马书 Romans 12:11 节里， 也说过这类似的话：“要心里火热。常常服事主。” 鼓励弟兄姊妹要永远保持初遇耶稣时的那种火热。也就像英国冒险家贝尔.格雷斯 Bear Grylls 所说的：“作一个最火热的人，尤其在困难面前，热忱可以帮你走下去。热忱也能激励你身边的人，因为热忱的力量能发有惊人的，得逞成功的效果。” 大家星期五开心，周末愉快！

This morning in "圣经日日行 Bible Day by Day", I read Rev. Nicky Gumbel's sharing of "Don't Give Up Your Enthusiasm". Pastor quotes Proverbs 23:10-18, especially verses 17-18, which describe: "... To this end, 今日灵粮 Spiritual Food Today would like to quote Colossians 3: 23-24 and make use of the attitude and teaching of apostle Paul with the topic of "Serve with Diligence and Zeal in the Fear of God", thus encouraged to pray for each other with the love of our Lord in this teaching from these verses. As we know, Paul endured suffering all his life, but served the Lord with perseverance and strength, and saying, "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving." As Pastor Gumbel has shared, reflected, and encouraged, he mentioned one incidence of many years ago, next to the words of this Proverbs 23:18 in the Bible, he wrote a line of small print, and confessed that: "I am a little jealous of my colleagues, but in this verse, that is what the Lord said to me: 'Do not be jealous of them, but fear the Lord all the day — your hope will not be cut off' ". Thanks, and praise the Lord, Pastor Gumbel relied on these words to insist on serving the Lord in the workplace.
