Pastor Bob Gass quoted Philippians 4:4, describing the faith and encouraged by apostle Paul to rejoice in the Lord always! That is what the topic and theme of "今日灵粮 Spiritual Food TODAY " is about to share. When it comes to our daily life, we must "Focus on the Joy of Living for Jesus ". Pastor Bob Gass explained this passage to us and quoted: " Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! " Why did Paul repeat his own words? Because joy is the fuel we live on, and unless we maintain it, it will be depleted. That means checking your "fuel gauge" regularly to make sure you're not spiraling into negativity and doubt. In the Bible, wine represents joy. In fact, John 2:1-11, describes the first miracle that Christ performed was turning water into wine, the best wine they ever drank, making the wedding feast even more filling with joy. So, Jesus is the giver of joy, and if you stay connected to him, you can experience his joy regardless of your circumstances. Acts 16:22-36 states that Paul was still so happy in prison that the jailer was moved to Christ by hearing what he had said. Philippians 4:22 also mentions it, so a church was arisen in Caesar's house. Your life attitude affects people more than your theology. Always be like this! When they see you joy in the face of adversity, they wonder what your secret is, and they all think, "I need that attitude of joy from this guy, no matter what material he has." " Pastor Bob Gass encouraged us with his sharing in this way to realize that the happiness in this world can provide with only a response to the situation; The joy of living in Jesus will take you more and above your circumstances. Therefore, focus on the joy in Jesus, draw on His joy, and show the joy with him to the world today.
