(479) 「灵粮主题 TODAY’s Topic」：活出与神给恩典荣耀相称的生命 Live a life Commensurate with God's Grace and Glory

「灵粮经节 TODAY’s Verses」：「使徒保罗在他委身传教植堂的使命中，都在学习耶稣传讲救恩福音的舍命精神，特别是告诉我们，我们一天中的每一刻事奉传福音与行善，包括那些看似微不足道的时刻，都是在荣耀神的机会。 我们荣耀神的行动并不局限于宏大。 相反，即使在每天的小 “任务” 中，比如吃喝，我们也都可以荣耀神，因此说： “ 所以，你们或吃或喝，无论做甚麽，都要为荣耀神而行。不拘是犹太人，是希利尼人，是神的教会，你们都不要使他跌倒。就好像我凡事都叫众人喜欢，不求自己的益处，只求众人的益处，叫他们得救。”; The apostle Paul, in his mission of evangelizing and planting churches for the Lord, was learning the spirit of Jesus’ sacrifice for the Gospel of salvation. He especially told us that every moment of our day to serve the Gospel and do good deeds, including those seemingly insignificant moments, all opportunities are to glorify God. Our actions to glorify God are not limited to grandeur. Instead, we can all glorify God even in small daily “tasks” like eating and drinking：” So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. Do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks, or the church of God — even as I try to please everyone in every way. For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved.” 」(哥林多前书 1 Corinthians 10: 31-33 节）

「灵粮分享 TODAY’s Sharing」：今晨在「(纯全喜乐 Pure Joys」里，读到约翰·派博牧师 Rev. John Piper 写了一篇，耶稣所说的， “如何恨恶你的生命” 的分享。牧者引用约翰福音 John 12: 24-25 节，尤其是第 25 节，在这经节里，使徒约翰提醒我们信耶稣，跟随他去事奉行善传福音，都得委身做个神的好器皿，为着传福音舍命，像耶稣一样的舍命，拯救世人脱离犯罪，堕落，和罪的死亡与惩罚，这也就是 「今日灵粮 Spiritual Food TODAY」 主题要分享的，要 “活出与神给恩典荣耀相称的生命” 。牧者约翰解释问道： “在这世上恨恶自己生命的，就要保守生命到永生” ，这是什么意思？这句经文至少告诉我们，不需要想太多关于世上生命的事。换句话说，你在世上的日子里，无论发生什么都不重要。如果有人说你好，这并不重要; 如果有人恨你，这并不重要; 如果你拥有很多东西，这并不重要; 如果你只有一点儿东西，这并不重要; 如果你被逼迫或欺骗，这并不重要; 如果你非常有名或默默无闻，这并不重要; 如果你死了，这一切就都不重要了。然而，更彻底的是，在这些事上我们需要做出一些选择，而不只是消极的经验。所以在这同一章，约翰福音 John 12：26 节里记载，耶稣说： “若有人服侍我，就当跟从我。” 跟从耶稣去哪里？他那时正要去客西马尼园，然后被钉十字架。耶稣不只是说：如果遭遇很糟糕的处境，不要烦躁，因为你反正会死。他说的是：选择与我一起死吧，选择恨恶你在世上的生命，就是像耶稣自己选择了十字架殉身一样， 来拯救世人脱离罪恶得永生。所以， 耶稣更在马太福音 Matthew 16: 24 节里说： “若有人要跟从我，就当舍己，背起他的十字架，来跟从我”，这就是耶稣的意思，他呼召我们选择那十字架。人只能在十字架上做一件事，就是死在十字架上。“背起你的十字架” 意思就是耶稣在约翰福音 John 12: 24 节里说 的，“像一粒麦子落在地里死了”，就能繁殖发芽生长，多结圣灵的果子，也就是能 “活出与神给恩典荣耀相称的生命”。让我们今天 能做出这个选择吧！大家星期五开心与周末愉快！

「灵粮祷告 TODAY’s Prayer」：「今日灵粮 Spiritual Food TODAY」 也就引用约翰牧师在他的分享里，所引用的使徒行传 Acts 20： 24 节和大家在主的爱里相互勉励祷告。就像使徒保罗为了彻底委身于神国的事工，在这经节里， 他表现着他能，“活出与神给恩典荣耀相称的生命” ，完善而得满足。所以他说：“我却不以性命为念，也不看为宝贵，只要行完我的路程，成就我从主耶稣所领受的职事，证明神恩惠的福音”。求神帮助我们，能够坚信颂赞救主耶稣的救赎能力，委身努力做个神的传福音好器皿，荣耀归于他的圣名。祷告奉主名求的，阿们！

In "今日圣言 Holy Word Today" this morning, I read an article written by Rev. John Piper about the meaning of Jesus has said, "How to hate your life". The pastor quoted John 12: 24-25, especially verse 25. In this verse, the apostle John reminds us that if we believe in Jesus and follow him to serve others in good deeds and spread the gospel, we must commit ourselves to being a good vessel of God for the purpose of preaching the gospel sacrifice your life, like Jesus, to save the world from sin, depravity, and the eventual death and punishment of sin. This is what the theme of "今日灵粮 Spiritual Food TODAY " wants to share, "Live a life Commensurate with God's Grace and Glory". Rev. Piper explained and asked what Jesus has said: "Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life." What does this mean? This scripture at least tells us that we do not need to think too much about life in this world. In other words, it does not matter what happens during your days on earth. It does not matter if someone says hello; It does not matter if someone hates you; It does not matter if you have a lot; it does not matter if you have a little stuff; it does not matter if you are persecuted or deceived; it does not matter if you are very famous or unknown; More radically, however, there are choices we need to make in these matters, not just negative experiences. So, in this same chapter, in John 12: 26, Jesus said: "Whoever serves me must follow me ...” Follow Jesus where? At that time, Jesus was going to the Garden of Gethsemane to pray and then he was crucified. Jesus did not just say: If you are in a bad situation, do not get upset because you are going to die anyway. What he said is: Choose to die with me, choose to hate your life on earth, just like Jesus himself chose to die on the cross, to save the world from sin and gain eternal life. Therefore, Jesus even more forward in Matthew 16: 24 and says: "Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me." This is what Jesus meant. He called us to choose that cross. People can only do things like on the cross with faith. One thing, is to die on the cross with Jesus. "Take up your cross" means what Jesus said in John 12: 24, "Like a grain of wheat that falls into the ground and dies" to reproduce, germinate and grow, bearing more fruit of the Holy Spirit, that is, being able to "Live a life Commensurate with God's Grace and Glory". Let us make this choice with faith to follow Jesus today! Happy Friday and great weekend, everyone!

In conclusion, “今日灵粮 Spiritual Food TODAY” would like to quote Acts 20: 24, which was also cited in the Rev. Piper’s sharing, and encourages to pray for each other in the love of the Lord. Like the apostle Paul, in order to commit himself completely to the work of the kingdom of God, in this verse he shows that he can, "Live a life Commensurate with God's Grace and Glory," complete and fulfilled. Therefore, he follows Jesus and said: "However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me — the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace." May God help us to firmly believe in and praise the redemptive power of the Savior Jesus, commit ourselves to be a good vessel for God's evangelism, and glory be to His holy name.
