; The wise King Solomon exhorted us in the verses of Proverbs with this Spiritual Food TODAY, and said: ” A wicked person earns deceptive wages, but the one who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward. Truly the righteous attain life, but whoever pursues evil finds death. The LORD detests those whose hearts are perverse, but he delights in those whose ways are blameless. Be sure of this: The wicked will not go unpunished, but those who are righteous will go free.”

Holy Word Today " this morning, I read the sharing of " How to Be Blessed at Work " written by Rev. Bob & Mrs. Debby Gass. Pastor Bob quoted Proverbs 10: 2 written by the wise King Solomon. This verse describes as to how to be blessed at work, and know that ill-gotten gains are of no benefit, and only riches earned righteously can save people from committing crime or death penalty. That is what the theme of "今日灵粮 Spiritual Food TODAY" is about to share, " Work Honestly and Act Completely to Please God ". Pastor Bob explained to us: In order to be blessed at work, we must practice this quality: “Honesty.” Stealing is unwise, even if you will never get caught. Proverbs 10:2, which the pastor quoted today, clearly tells us, "Ill-gotten gains do no good, . . . " You may steal and get away with it, but you will not benefit from it. Proverbs 13:11 also warns us, "The ill-gotten gains will be spent, . . . " You cannot do the wrong thing and get the right result. Not only will you be in trouble, but you will be in trouble for those who love you and depend on you. Because, again, Proverbs 15:27 reminds us, "The love of riches is to the detriment of one's own house ..." Think about it: you may lose your job, ruin your reputation, suffer disgrace, and face the threat of your whole family. The price and legal consequences, and the shame that comes with it, can all have a negative impact on your child. Your spouse deserves an honest partner, and your children deserve an honest example, believing that the path you walk is safe for them to follow.

Radio commentator Paul Harvey noted that 40 percent of Americans admit to stealing at work, and 25 percent of them feel it is reasonable to do so. They justified themselves and said: "Everyone is doing it, why can't I? The boss can afford it, and he will not take it to heart ... It is just a trivial matter; it will not have any impact ... The company owes me, it is just taking back what's mine ... it is what I would serve. I've worked so hard and never been recognized." But what does God say about that? Proverbs 11:18, which is quoted in the sharing for the “今日灵粮 Spiritual Food TODAY,” tells us that "the gains of the wicked are gone in a blink of an eye." When you deceive your employer, the Bible says that you are a "wicked person". Of all people, your employers and customers should be able to trust that followers of Christ are honest, earn their wages, and provide quality service. Happy Friday and great weekend everyone!

Spiritual Food TODAY” would like to quote Proverbs 21:6-7 and encourages to pray for each other in the love of the Lord. In today's sharing, Pastor Bob is teaching and reminding us, “How to be blessed at work". Therefore, in the verses quoted for the conclusion of today's spiritual food, the wise King Solomon once again reminded us in the Proverbs that: " A fortune made by a lying tongue is a fleeting vapour and a deadly snare. The violence of the wicked will drag them away, for they refuse to do what is right. " May God help us to live a rich and spiritual life throughout our lives. No matter how difficult it is to make a living, we must keep in mind, and always "Work Honestly and Act Completely to Please God”! Pray in the name of the Lord, Amen!
