「灵粮经节 TODAY’s Verses」：「旧约古代里的诗人大卫王在他的诗篇 100: 3-5 节里有这样的劝告神的子民，说：你们当晓得耶和华是神！我们是祂造的，也是属祂的；我们是，祂的民，也是祂草场的羊。当称谢进入祂的门；当赞美进入祂的院。当感谢祂，称颂祂的名！因为耶和华本为善。祂的慈爱存到永远；祂的信实直到万代。以至到现在。在我们灵粮今天所引用的约翰福音经节里，使徒约翰也都这么记载神答应祂与我们的同在，赐给我们做神儿女的所说的话：“我留下平安给你们；我将我的平安赐给你们。我所赐的，不像世人所赐的。你们心里不要忧愁，也不要胆怯; King David, the ancient palmist in the Old Testament, gave this advice to God's people in his Psalm 100: 3-5, saying: Know that the Lord is God! 「灵粮祷告 TODAY’s Prayer」：最后「今日灵粮 Spiritual Food TODAY」也就引用以赛亚书 Isaiah 26: 3-4 节. 鼓励大家在主的爱里互相勉励祷告，颂赞神的爱。 在这以赛亚书 26 章的经节里，先知以赛亚早在旧约古代时，都已经在勉励我们做神子民的，要有信心跟随主与神同在等候，勉励着说：“坚心倚赖神的，祂必保守你十分平安，因为你倚靠神。 你们当倚靠耶和华直到永远，因为耶和华是永久的磐石（坚固保护得拯救）。” 求神帮助我们凡事都能顺服神的旨意等候仰望祂，因为，“坚心依靠神的同在必蒙恩惠得平安”，祷告奉主名祷告，阿门！

This morning in "荒漠甘泉 Wells of Grace ", I read Rev. Lettie Cowman's column, and she shared an article "Be still and know that I am God!" Pastor Mrs. Cowman quoted Psalm 46: 10, advising those who are God’s people to learn to wait patiently every day and rely on Him quietly and steadily. In the verses, the psalmist advises us to rest, relax, and not to panic, but know that He is God! He will be exalted among the Gentiles among us, and he will be exalted throughout the earth. We are His creatures and we belong to Him; we are His sheep, and He loves the sheep of his pasture.

The pastor then gave many examples of Bible verses and explained: For example, can rests be removed from music scores? Can “Selah” be removed from the Psalms? Can silence be eliminated in life? Is there anything in the world that can touch our hearts and feel it like "quietness"? (1) In Philippians 4: 7, the apostle Paul tells us that only when we are quiet can we get "the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding"; {2} Like Isaiah 30: 15 what is mentioned in the verse, "peace and stability" enables you to get the source of strength you need; you can also get the rest that the world can neither give nor take away; you can also hear God's still with small voice. For example, a wheel spins fast on its axis, but the center of the wheel is stationary; the world is surrounded by endless chaos, but with God's presence, the heart is calm and naturally cool, the same principle; (3) In the busiest life of human beings, we, in our spirit still needs faith to be able to stay quiet and alone with God. Just like in Habakkuk 2: 20, the prophet Habakkuk advises us not to love the idolatrous glory of this world, but to always return to God’s house church to worship and get closer to God.
