「灵粮经节 TODAY’s Verses」：使徒保罗关心所有教会的信徒，每年基督徒在做他们新年的决心的时刻，在罗马书里就可以看到他勉励的话，说：「惟有基督在我们还作罪人的时候为我们死，神的爱就在此向我们显明了。现在我们既靠着他的血称义，就更要藉着他免去神的忿怒。因为我们作仇敌的时候，且藉着神儿子的死，得与神和好；既已和好，就更要因他的生得救了。不但如此，我们既藉着我主耶稣基督得与神和好，也就藉着他以神为乐。”; The Apostle Paul cares about believers in all churches. Every year when Christians make New Year's resolutions, you can see his words of encouragement in the book of Romans, saying: “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life! Not only is this so, but we also boast in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received reconciliation.” 」 (罗马书 Romans 5: 8-11 节)

「灵粮分享 TODAY’s Sharing」：牧者克里斯·摩恩 Pastor Chris Moen 曾宣讲了一篇道，说到神一直在忍耐人类的罪恶，但他将达到他的极限并释放他的愤怒。 你怎样才能避免神的愤怒呢？ 在《启示录》第六章中，使徒约翰看到一个异象，其中耶稣基督正在揭开预言书卷中的七印。 当前五印被揭开时，约翰看到地上有巨大的悲伤，这些悲伤主要是由人类造成的，而撒但又加剧了这些悲伤。所以，在我们每年的决心里，都要谨慎决志信靠耶稣而得救以免去神的最后审判与忿怒。

今晨在「纯全喜乐 Pure Joys」里，读到约翰·派博牧师 Rev. John Piper 写了一篇， “一个可怕的命运” 的分享。牧者约翰牧师引用帖撒罗尼迦前书 1 Thessalonians 1: 10 节，提醒着使徒保罗给我们的劝告，说到那位神的儿子，将拯救我们脱离将来白衣宝座前的审判和避免神的忿怒，祂就是我们所信并跟随的救主耶稣基督。这也就是「今日灵粮 Spiritual Food TODAY」 主题要分享的，我们每年在新年开始里所想要的愿望， “新年的决心 – 信耶稣得拯救以免去神最后的审判与忿怒” ；跟从耶稣坚信着主，直向永生的标杆跑，不但得有平安，最后且能与神相见得恩典和赏赐。

约翰牧师接着举了许多经节例子解释道：你记得小时候迷路走丢了，或从悬崖上滑倒，或是差一点被淹死的情景吗？然后，突然间你获救了。你紧紧抓住 “可爱的生命” 不松手。当你想到刚刚差一点就要失去时，你会因惊吓而颤抖。然后，你会很高兴。哦！真的又开心又感恩，因着喜悦情不自禁地发抖。那就是鲍勃牧师在这年终岁末，想到自己从神的忿怒中获得拯救的感受。圣诞节那天，他家中壁炉的火一直烧着。有时候炉中的煤炭烧得很烫, 牧者一加煤，手就会感觉到烫热好疼。这也一想到神要惩罚地狱里的罪恶，他就退缩了手，浑身发抖。那将是多么可怕的事啊!

接着牧者说，圣诞节的下午，他去探访一位全身 87% 以上被烧伤的妇女。她从八月份便住进医院至今。他为她感到心碎。能够用神的话语将盼望带给她是一件美好的事。然而，当我从医院出来时，脑中想的不只是她在今生的痛苦，我也想到自己因耶稣得从其中被拯救出来的那永恒的痛苦。

牧者鼓励我们和他一起经验这新年的决心要如何做吧。这种发颤的喜乐是结束这一年的好方式吗？（1） 在帖撒罗尼迦前书1: 10节里，保罗表示他很高兴，因天上的神有着最后救恩的准备，就是 “那位救我们脱离将来忿怒的耶稣。” ； （2） 在罗马书2: 8节里，他警告 “那些不顺从真理的，就以忿怒、恼恨报应他们。” ； （3）而且在以弗所书 5: 6 节里，更警告提醒着我们说，因着淫乱、污秽和贪心这些事，“神的忿怒必临到那悖逆之子。”；

在这岁末年终，按着牧者的读经日程，他正在读圣经的最后一卷书 — 也就是 《启示录》。在这卷书启示录 22: 17 里，神对救恩得胜的预言，也就是那些悔改得救而， “愿意的，都可以白白取生命的水喝” 之人，有着永恒喜乐的荣耀的预言: 之后，在启示录 21: 4 节里显露着给得救的人知道，他们不再有泪水，不再有疼痛，不再有忧郁，不再有悲哀，也不再有死亡。

但是，不愿意悔改也不坚信耶稣见证的后果是多么可怕！使徒约翰是耶稣所 “爱的门徒” 之一。他对神的忿怒描绘的是令人恐惧的。那些轻蔑地拒绝神的爱的人， 在启示录 14: 10-11 节里描述着说，“必喝神大怒的酒，此酒斟在神忿怒的杯中纯一不杂。他要在圣天使和羔羊面前，在火与硫磺之中受痛苦。他受痛苦的烟往上冒，直到永永远远 ... 昼夜不得安宁。” 启示录20: 15 节里更提醒着我们作后来也是现代的信徒，说，“若有人名字没记在生命册上，他就被扔在火湖里。” 耶稣在启示录 19: 15 里告诉我们，他将会 “踹全能神烈怒的酒榨。” 而且在启示录 14: 20 节里，更形容那愤怒可怕的惩罚。像 “有血从酒榨里流出来，高到马的嚼环，远有六百里。”

我们因着信得拯救且感有战兢的喜乐。哦，原来神的圣洁对人类的忿怒就是一个可怕的命运和人生应该得来的下场！弟兄姐妹们，你们要逃离这将来神对人类的忿怒，要尽你的全力逃离这个可怕的命运下场。让我们尽可能的遵守耶稣的吩咐和大使命，有行动地去引人信主，拯救更多的人。难怪，使徒路加在他的路加福音 15: 7 节里勉励着我们提到耶稣说的，“一个罪人悔改，在天上也要这样为他欢喜，较比为九十九个不用悔改的义人欢喜更大。” 求神怜悯施恩，帮助我们有个强有力量的新年决心，持守着我们的信仰，让它用圣灵浇灌着我们，每天都能与耶稣同行，成为他一个有用的神圣器皿，努力牧工完成他吩咐给我们的伟大使命，引领更多的人，跟我们一起欢乐地迎接每年的新年决志，走完人生的艰苦旅程，以获得祂最终施的恩典和永生的奖赏。祝贺大家迎接将要来到的龙年新春快乐，星期五开心与周末愉快！

「灵粮祷告 TODAY’s Prayer」：最后「今日灵粮 Spiritual Food TODAY」也就引用提撒罗尼迦前书 1 Thessalonians 5: 9 节. 鼓励大家在主的爱里相互勉励祷告，促进大家每年都得有，“新年的决心 – 信耶稣得拯救以免去神最后的审判与忿怒”。希伯来书 Hebrews 9: 28 节，都有这么安慰着我们说： “像这样，基督既然一次被献，担当了多人的罪，将来要向那等候他的人第二次显现，并与罪无关，乃是为拯救他们。” 在这里今日灵粮也都提醒引用撒罗尼迦前书 1 Thessalonians 5: 9 节里神的话语，也就是使徒保罗在鼓励我们后来的去履行每年有着的新年的决心说， “因为神不是预定我们受刑，乃是预定我们藉着我们主耶稣基督得救。” 约翰牧师在今日的分享里也都在鼓励着我们，得存有个强有力量的新年决心，将神的应许存记在我们的心里，打那保罗所形容的美好的仗，凭着对神未来恩典的信心而活与等候将来耶稣再来的审判过关。祷告奉主名祷告，阿门！

Pastor Chris Moen once preached a sermon about how God has been patient with mankind's sin, but He will reach His limit and unleash His wrath. How can you avoid God's wrath? In Revelation 6, the apostle John sees a vision in which Jesus Christ is opening the seven seals of the prophetic scroll. When the first five seals were opened, John saw great sorrows on earth, sorrows caused primarily by humans and exacerbated by Satan. Therefore, in our annual resolutions, we must carefully decide to trust Jesus and be saved from God’s final judgment and wrath.

This morning in "纯全喜乐 Pure Joys ", I read the sharing of "A Terrible Fate " written by Rev. John Piper. Pastor John quoted 1 Thessalonians 1: 10 to remind us of the apostle Paul’s advice to us, saying that the Son of God will save us from the future judgment before the white throne and avoid God’s Wrath. He is the Savior Jesus Christ whom we believe in and follow. This is what the theme of "今日灵粮 Spiritual Food TODAY" is about to share, what we want at the beginning of the new year every year, " New Year’s Resolution – Believe in Jesus and Be Saved to Avoid Final Judgment and Wrath from God "; follow Jesus believe in the Lord and run straight towards the goal of eternal life. Not only will you have peace, but you will also be able to meet God and receive grace and rewards in the end.

Pastor John went on to explain with many scripture examples: Do you remember when you were a kid and got lost, or slipped off a cliff, or almost drowned? Then, suddenly you are rescued. You hold on to "lovely life" and don't let go. You tremble with fear when you think about how close you came to losing it. Then you will be happy. Oh! I am really happy and grateful, and I cannot help but tremble with joy. That’s how Pastor Bob felt at the end of the year, thinking about his deliverance from God’s wrath. On Christmas Day, the fire in his fireplace was kept burning. Sometimes the coals in the furnace are very hot. When the pastor adds coals, his hands will feel hot and painful. This also made him shrink his hand and tremble all over when he thought about God punishing the sins in hell. What a terrible thing that would be!

Then the pastor said that on Christmas afternoon, he visited a woman who had been burned over 87% of her body. She has been admitted to the hospital since August. His heart breaks for her. It was a wonderful thing to be able to bring hope to her through the Word of God. Yet, when I came out of the hospital, I was thinking not just of her pain in this life, but also of the eternal pain from which I had been saved through Jesus.

The pastor encourages us to experience with him how to make this New Year's resolution. Is this trembling joy a good way to end the year? (1) In 1 Thessalonians 1: 10, Paul expresses his joy because the God in heaven has prepared the final salvation, “Jesus, who saves us from the wrath to come.”; (2) In Romans 2: 8, he warned “about wrath and wrath for those who disobey the truth.”; (3) And in Ephesians 5: 6, he warned even more, we talk about that because of such things as fornication, impurity, and greed, “the wrath of God will come upon the sons of disobedience.”

At the end of this year, according to the pastor’s Bible reading schedule, he is reading the last book of the Bible — the Book of Revelation. In this book, Revelation 22: 17, God’s prophecy of the victory of salvation, that is, the glorious prophecy of eternal joy for those who repent and are saved and “whosoever will, let him drink the water of life freely”: Later, it is revealed in Revelation 21: 4 that the saved will know that they will have no more tears, no more pain, no more depression, no more mourning, and no more death.

But what a dire consequence it is to be unwilling to repent and not to believe in the testimony of Jesus! The apostle John was one of Jesus’ “beloved disciples.” His picture of God's wrath is frightening. Those who scornfully reject God’s love are described in Revelation 14: 10-11, “They will drink the wine of God’s wrath, pure and pure, poured out into the cup of God’s wrath. He will be suffered in fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. The smoke of his torment ascends forever and ever ... There will be no rest day or night." Revelation 20:15 reminds us of the future. Especially including modern believers, saying, “If anyone’s name is not written in the book of life, he was cast into the lake of fire.” Jesus told us in Revelation 19: 15 that He will “tread the winepress of the wrath of Almighty God.” And in Revelation 14: 20, it even describes the wrathful and terrible punishment. Like “blood came out of the winepress as high as the horse’s bridle, six hundred miles away.”

We are saved by faith and have trembling joy. Oh, it turns out that God’s holy wrath against mankind is a terrible fate and the fate that life deserves! Brothers and sisters, you must escape God's wrath against mankind in the future, and you must do your best to escape this terrible fate. Let us obey Jesus’ instructions and the Great Commission as much as possible, take action to lead people to believe in the Lord, and save more people. No wonder, the apostle Luke encourages us in his Gospel of Luke 15:7 when he says of Jesus, “There will be joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, as over ninety-nine righteous people who do not need to repent. People rejoice even more." Pray for God's mercy and grace to help us make a powerful New Year's resolution, hold on to our faith, and let it pour out the Holy Spirit on us. We can walk with Jesus every day and become a useful vessel of Him. As a holy vessel, we will work hard to fulfill the Great Commission He has entrusted to us, lead more people to becoming believers, join us in joyfully welcoming every New Year's resolution, and complete the arduous journey of life to obtain His final grace and the reward of eternal life. When all was said and done, "今日灵粮 Spiritual Food TODAY" would like to quote 1 Thessalonians 5: 9, and encourage every one of us to pray for each other in the love of the Lord, and give promotion everyone to have a strong, " New Year’s Resolution – Believe in Jesus and Be Saved to Avoid Final Judgment and Wrath from God " in every year. Hebrews 9: 28 comforts us by saying: “So Christ, who was sacrificed once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time to those who are waiting for Him, and will Sin has nothing to do with it, but it is for their salvation.” Today’s spiritual food here also reminds us and quotes God’s words in 1 Thessalonians 5:9, which is what the apostle Paul is encouraging us to do each year. As if the verse comforts us in making a New Year’s resolution, and says, “For God has not destined us to be punished, but to be saved through our Lord Jesus Christ.” Pastor John also encouraged us in today’s sharing to have a strong New Year’s resolution as a new year starts, and may we all store this God’s promises and trust in our hearts, fight the good fight as described by apostle Paul, live by faith in God’s future grace and wait for the passing of future judgment granted for us in His Second Coming and Return of Jesus Christ. Pray in the name of the Lord, Amen!
