Know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified.

Theologians and pastors are helping us find the truth of God’s salvation and will explain to us as to how God justifies people. Paul wrote in Romans 3: 23-24: “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.” Therefore, justification occurs when a person accepts Jesus Christ, believes in His death as a sacrifice for our sins, and rises again on the third day to defeat the wages of sin. Luke 18: 13-14 explain that justification means “to be declared righteous.” The apostle Paul’s teachings in many of his letters emphasized that human beings are not justified by their own works, but by God’s mercy — grace. This is also demonstrated in Titus 3: 4-8 explain. Our justifying duty is to humble ourselves by faith before God, repent of our sins, and ask for His mercy and forgiveness. Quoting answers from Christian Theological Quest, a pastor argued that God's justification of us means three things: (1) God's act of moving a willing person from a state of sin (injustice) to a state of grace (righteousness), (2) the change in a person's condition from a state of sin (injustice) to a state of grace. That is to say, the passage from sin to a state of righteousness, or, (3) especially in our dispensation of the teaching of the New Testament gospel, is an act of acquittal. However, some readers and believers may also ask where in the Bible it is said that God will justify us. When we want to find the answer, we must realize that the life purpose God has given to each of us is in accordance with His sovereignty and His predestined person. Romans 8:30-31 in the Amplified Bible (AMP) describes those whom He predestined and called; He also justified [declared not guilty] those whom He called; those who were called God also glorifies those who are righteous [raising them to a heavenly status]. God is the righteous, faithful and sovereign God, so in this verse, Paul can tell us without fear. In this case, if God’s Spirit (the Holy Spirit) calls us to help us know Jesus, only by believing in Jesus can we be justified, who can be against us?

This morning in "Pure Joys", I read an article written by Rev. John Piper, "Decisively Justified." The pastor quoted Romans 8: 33, which reminds us that we are those chosen by God to be justified, so the verse also confirms it by saying, "Who can accuse God's chosen ones? God calls them Righteous." This is what the theme of "今日灵粮 Spiritual FOOD TODAY" is about to share, " We Are Justified by Faith in Our Savior Jesus Christ."

Pastor John then explained with an example that Paul could have asked, “Who can accuse God’s chosen ones?” Then answered, "No one! We are justified." Paul would be right if he said that, but that's not what he said. His answer was, "God justifies them." It can be seen that the focus of this answer is not on “justifying them”, but on “who” justifies them. Why? Because accusation, justification, or acquittal are terms used in courts and law, one judge's acquittal may be overturned by a higher judge. So, what happens if you are guilty and a magistrate acquits you, but a magistrate has the power to charge you? And what happens if you are guilty and a local governor acquits you, but the leader of the country accuses you?

Therefore, what Pastor John wants to say is: There is no higher authority above God. If God acquits you, or declares you righteous, no one can appeal, no one can ask for a mistrial, no one can find any other crime against you. God's judgment is final and complete. All brothers and sisters who believe in Jesus, are united with Christ, and are chosen by God, please listen: God is the one who justifies you. Not a judge, not a great prophet, not an angel, but God — the Creator of the world, the owner of all, the ruler of the universe and of every molecule and person in it — justifies you!

Therefore, we can be sure that even in the face of great suffering, we are safe and unshakable. If God is for us, no one can successfully oppose us. Since God has given us His only begotten Son, He will give us all the benefits. Since He justifies us, nothing can be against us. Happy Friday everyone and have a great weekend!

When all this is said and done, in the summary of this sharing, "今日灵粮 Spiritual FOOD TODAY" would like to quote Romans 9: 30 -32,allowing everyone to pray for each other, and encourage each other in the love of the Lord. In this verse, Paul praises us as Gentiles for pursuing righteousness and receiving righteousness, which is the righteousness that comes from faith, saying: “What then shall we say? That the Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have obtained it, a righteousness that is by faith; but the people of Israel, who pursued the law as the way of righteousness, have not attained their goal. Why not? Because they pursued it not by faith but as if it were by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone.” Pray that God will help strengthen our faith. Through the teachings of Jesus Christ, God’s love for mankind is demonstrated. With the outpouring and guidance of His Holy Spirit, pray that God would grant us in our lives to do good deeds with righteousness, and live a life that pleases God. Pray in the name of the Lord, Amen!
