;The Apostle Paul exhorted the Galatian church and believers about how to live after being saved and becoming new creations, how to love and help each other, how to maintain and support the church of God's family, and how to do good and serve others as themselves. Also known as brothers and sisters in God's family. He said: “So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

Many Bible scholars agree that the concept of "Brothers and Sisters in the Family of God's Church" is strongly cited and supported in many passages in the New Testament. These passages emphasize the unity and equality of the Christian community as the church, which is established by God's love through the salvation of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, regardless of background or social status. For example, (1) Romans 8:16-17 mentions believers as children and heirs of God, emphasizing their inheritance and belonging to God's family; (2) Hebrews 2:11-12 connects Jesus with His brothers and sisters, further emphasizing the concept of spiritual family; (3) Hebrews 10:19-20 emphasizes that through the precious blood of Jesus, believers have access to the heavenly sanctuary and are considered members of God's family.

The passage shared by "今日灵粮 Spiritual FOOD TODAY" is Galatians 3:26-29. Especially in the first three verses, the equality and unity of believers in Christ, regardless of background, is emphasized, and their inheritance as descendants of Abraham through faith, as promised by God in the last verse. In other words, salvation and inheritance are not based on bloodline or social status, but on faith in Christ and the unity of baptism, becoming children of God, as " We Are Brothers and Sisters in the Big Family of God's Church." In the “Daily Proverbs” column, a gospel writer published a sermon on a similar theme, titled "Who is My Family?", citing Matthew 12:46-50 to describe the composition of a typical secular family. The author, who may be a pastor, went on to explain, asking, "What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word 'family'?"

In the environment where the pastor grew up, families usually consisted of a couple and their biological children. Some families adopted children, some couples did not have children, and some parents were divorced. But in the culture at the time, the most common family was the nuclear family. Yet, in the Bible and in our world today, families that fit this description are not common anymore.

When Jesus’ family tried to convey His message to Him in a crowded crowd, Jesus taught, “Whoever does the will of my Father in heaven is my brother, sister and mother.” Jesus was helping His disciples recognize a new kind of family — a bond stronger than blood. This was not a denial of blood ties, but an invitation to join a larger, richer family — the family of God’s Church, where we can walk with God and live and dwell in His future kingdom.

May God’s Spirit move among us, guiding us so that in our relationships and communities, no matter how different we are from one another, we can be recognized by outsiders as God’s wonderful gifts and members of God’s family. In other words, “We Are Brothers and Sisters in the Big Family of God's Church.” May God help us all to follow the teachings of our Savior Jesus Christ as He gives us in the Bible as a church, to do the will of our Heavenly Father, to be saved children of God’s family, and to glorify Him.
