This includes both Jews and Gentiles who believe in Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul clarifies firmly that this is not limited by physical lineage or other earthly distinctions, but rather by spiritual connection to Christ as described in the quoted scripture and says, “It was not through the law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith. For if those who depend on the law are heirs, faith means nothing and the promise is worthless, because the law brings wrath. And where there is no law there is no transgression. Therefore, the promise comes by faith, so that it may be by grace and may be guaranteed to all Abraham’s offspring — not only to those who are of the law but also to those who have the faith of Abraham. He is the father of us all.”

In the Old Testament, the Israelites were chosen by God to be His chosen people — they became God’s children on earth. However, human sinfulness is difficult to change. They knowingly sinned and continued to sin, disobeying God’s words. Until God loves the world, He will not leave or forsake us. In the New Testament era, God once again gave mankind the Ultimate Plan of Salvation. This plan of salvation was realized through the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ, God’s only Son to the earth. He became the living sacrificial lamb of salvation, was nailed to the cross, shed His blood to cleanse all the sins of mankind, and saved mankind from the punishment of sin and eternal death. Therefore, all those who believe in the Lord Jesus as their ultimate personal savior will be chosen by God, have their sins forgiven, and become children of God, just as God promised the Jews in the Old Testament that they would become the chosen people of Abraham's descendants who was the father of faith originated; now in the New Testament, the same promise of salvation is also given to Gentiles as well. As long as they believe in Jesus as their savior, they will also become children of God like the chosen people.

However, believers should know and understand that even if you are a Jew, if you do not believe in Jesus as your personal savior, you are no longer qualified to be saved before God or become a child of God, because when and before the judgment of the white throne, our ultimate judge Jesus will not recognize you, and the consequences will be disastrous. For the realistic prophecy of Jesus' return and the consequences of the end of the world, do refer to the last book of the New Testament, Revelation. One of the Bible scholars has concluded for Paul's message in Romans 4-16 as a powerful defense of the gospel of grace, emphasizing that salvation is a gift freely offered to all who believe, and that this gift is received through faith in Jesus Christ, just as Abraham received God's promise through faith. May all the saved believers in the world continue to pray for peace! God is watching over human’s selfishness, and in the future, each of us will have to report and pay our taxes! Whether you claim to be a Jewish chosen person or a Gentile who believes in Jesus and is saved, as long as we are believers who believe in Jesus and are saved, we are all chosen by God and saved by God as His children.
