In a sermon titled "Jesus Christ as Sunlight" published in his "Pure Joy" column, Pastor Rev. John Piper quoted Hebrews 1:3, which describes Jesus as "the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of His being." He pointed out that Jesus' relationship with God is like that of radiance and glory, or of sunlight and the sun.

Pastor Rev. John Piper further explained that the sun shines every moment, and the two are completely inseparable. Radiance is always with glory, and Jesus Christ is forever with God the Father. Radiance originates from glory and is essentially no different from glory. Jesus is a personal God, essentially no different from God the Father. Because Christ is the only begotten Son of the Triune God in eternity, He was not created or made. Therefore, Pastor Rev. John Piper recommends this great Jesus to us, hoping that we will all trust in Him, love Him, and worship Him. Jesus is alive; He sits at the right hand of God, possesses great authority, and one day He will return with great glory. He is exalted because He is the Son of God.

As Pastor Rev.
