一位加拿大注册会计师被召的见证 A Personal Testimony From a Canadian CPA

（1） Preface 前言

Paul’s last instructions to God’s worker, Timothy: “ … But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry. For I am already being poured out like a drink offering, and the time for my departure is near. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day—and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing ...”

保罗对神的工人提摩太的最后吩咐： “ … 你却要凡事谨慎，忍受苦难，做传道的工夫，尽你的职分。我现在被浇奠，我离世的时候到了。那美好的仗我已经打过了，当跑的路我已经跑尽了，所信的道我已经守住了。从此以後，有公义的冠冕为我存留，就是按着公义审判的主到了那日要赐给我的；不但赐给我，也赐给凡爱慕他显现的人 ...”

（2） Testimony 个人见证

He was questioned by one of his former middle school classmates recently and asked, how do you abandon your favorite major career halfway and become a servant of God with such a difficult commitment to preach and spread gospel?

This Canadian accountant explained that it is an extraordinary event that God calls people to be His instruments and servants. There are also many examples of moving and wonderful stories in the Bible, such as:

(1) Samuel was called by God to use him since he was a child;

(2) Moses was an old man before God called him.

This accountant replied that his situation falls into the second category above:

Yes, he was called while serving in the church. At that time, he was on a business trip to work, driving a high-speed car on a busy highway, and encountered by a group of deer that suddenly appeared crossing the highway. In order to avoid it, he turned to avoid the car too fast, the car lost control, the car rolled over and crashed into an unprecedented serious car accident. At that time, he remembered and yelled God to save him. When he woke up, he had an urgent diagnosis of his broken neck in the hospital. God allows him to live, and registered God's plan in him with his purpose. In prayer, the accountant promised God that he would serve him and become a powerful tool for him.

After returning to the church, church was moved to understand his testimony. The director general of the Chinese Alliance Churches organization recommended him to study part-time and part-time in Theology Program at university, and finally received a master degree in Leadership and Ministry . He quit his job as an accountant and obeyed God’s mission to go to Red Deer City and serve full-time to restore the Chinese Ministry in the Alliance Church that have been lost for many years.

It took him about five years to revive the Chinese church again and enable young people to take over it. Accordingly, he resigned and returned to his accounting and financial management business, but was related to the Master Degree Program in servant Leadership. He went to teach in the department of this university seminary and worked as a teaching assistant and student advisor. Five years later, in 2016, he returned to hometown Edmonton and semi-retired, and became a professional volunteer as a Spiritual Counsellor or Advisor, serving as a tool for God's evangelical mission and care for the community charities.

From 2019 to 2020, he was prepared and set up the "今日灵粮 SPIRITUAL FOOD TODAY" website in his spare time to continue to spread the gospel service for God, and be like a disciple and apostle. For example, the apostle Paul will give his life to God and follow the Lord. Some way, he said, because his life was picked up by God. Willingly, it is also a tool in God's plan. 有一位中学同学问道，你如何半途抛弃你喜爱的专业，去做一个艰难神的仆人传福音去？

这位加拿大会计师解释说，神召人做祂的器皿工具是非凡奇妙的。圣经里也有许多动人奇妙的故事例子，例如：

（1）撒母耳从小就被神召使用他；

（2）摩西却是到老年人，神才召用他。

这位会计师回答说，他的情况是属于以上的第二种：

是的，在教会里事奉的时候被召。那时他正在出差工作，驾驶高速驾车在快速公路上奔跑，撞到一群突然出显过公路的一群鹿子。 为了避免，他转避车子太快，车子失控，翻车冲击，闯到了一个空前的严重车祸，当时他便大喊叫神救他。 当他醒过来时，他已经在医院急诊断了脖子。神让他活下去，也是神的计划和目的。在祷告里这位会计师答应神，要事奉祂，成祂的一个有力工具。复原回来教会，教会感动了解了他的见证，宣道会华人教会机构总幹事，便推荐了他入大学神学半工半读，最终拿到神学硕士学位文凭，他辭掉了会计师工作，遵从神的任务，赴红鹿市全职侍奉，将失落亡散多年的华人教会，挽救回复起来。

他花了大约五年的时间，把华人教会再度复兴起来，好待給年轻人来接班. 因而他就辞掉连凭，再回到他的会计财经管理本行，但是与神学硕士课程有关系的职务，他就去了一间大学神学院科系教书，当助教学生辅导工作。五年后在 2016 年他回到 Edmonton 故乡半退休下来，做个专业义工 （Spiritual Counsellor or Advisor）, 给社区慈善机构做神的传福音关怀的工具服务至今。
